I would recommend this holiday because of the location and the seclusion of the cottage, lovely and quiet. Mrs D, Hartlepool, Cleveland 27 March 2011
Poppy's Footprint was lovely accommodation - very secluded and relaxing, maintained to a high standard. The short break we had was really enjoyable, we cannot think of anything which would have made it better. Mrs T, Leven, Fife 16 March 2011
The holiday was great and the owners very friendly and welcoming. Miss S, Glasgow, Lanarkshire 14 March 2011
An incredibly friendly welcome and great advice about all the things nearby to do. A broad spectrum of things available from pubs or fine dining to family activities or adventure sports. Best of all the cottage is a great size, just right as a base to visit the Dales from. Mr N, Bury, Lancashire 10 March 2011
Just left a review on the website. Had a great week at this fantastic cottage, the owner couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. Mr H, North Shields, Tyne And Wear 17 January 2011
A fantastic and unique cottage, made all the better by the warm welcome along with the help and advice. Middleham is a great place to stay, with everything you need for food and drink. The people are very friendly and it's great to see all the horses around the village, it's worth a visit to the gallops. Lots of walks from here, and if the weather's not good the are plenty of places to visit. Mr H, North Shields, Tyne And Wear 16 January 2011
Welcome was very warm and friendly. Much appreciated the help.

A fabulous gem of a cottage in a wonderful location. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We will recommend to all our friends and hope to return to Poppy's Footprint very soon. Ms S, Brighton, East Sussex 15 March 2010
Would definately recommend - cottage was perfect, owners were very welcoming and helpful.
The area itself was beautiful and even out of season there was plenty to do. Mr B, WESTBURY, Wiltshire 25 February 2010
I would recommend this holiday destination to others as the location was secluded, peaceful and quaint. The overall quality and standard superseded my expectations. On arrival the host Roger was friendly, helpful and welcoming there was even a complimentary bottle of red wine that went down very well after the long drive. We want to go back as the accommodation, the host Roger and Hilary coupled with the people living in the village of Middleham, made our stay comfortable and fantastic. Mr C, MAIDSTONE 09 January 2010
